Varanasi: Seven days’ course on communication was held for the brothers of St. John’s Minor Seminary, Marhauli, Varanasi. 34 brothers, including regents and Theology students participated in the course. Fr C R Justy, Communication In-charge of Nav Sadhana Regional Pastoral Center, Varansi was the resourse person. He conducted the interactive sessions through which students were helped to clear their doubts on the subject. Every day there were 2 hours of classes ending with a small assignment. The topics dealt during the course were Introduction to Communication, Communication Skills, Cinema, Social Media (FaceBook & Tik Tok), Fake News and Photography.

 

 

 

In their evaluation the students shared that they will make use of all the information and ideas they learned during these class hours. Further they affirmed what they learnt not only will remain in their books but also will reflect in their life. At the end of the course, a short written test was conducted, in which most of them passed with flying colors. The classes were held, keeping in mind the COVID 19 rule of social distancing and mask protection. The course was organized by Rev. Fr. Gabriel, the rector of St. John’s Seminary, Varanasi
