Kamaranga (Tripura) October 20, 2021: St. Raphael Parish, Kamaranga organized three days of youth seminars from October 19 to 21st. There were 76 participants gathered from different villages (Sub-stations) to the annual fest. Fr. Arun Minj the Parish Priest and the youth executive body met a few months back to finalize the schedule. Among many input sessions Media Literacy was one of it and youth wholeheartedly participated in this tutorial lesson. Fr. Ivan D’Silva, SVD the Diocesan secretary for the commission for Social Communication educated the youth on Media literacy. Especially he talked about the wrong usage of mobile phones and how it negatively affects the youth. He used a few video clips, PowerPoint presentations to illustrate and educate on Social media.
