Archbishop Giambattista Diquattro the Holy See's Ambassador to India and Nepal, organized a Christian Media profesional get-together on 25th April 2018, 07.00 pm at the Apostolic Nunciature, Chanakyapuri, New Delhi. He is very simple and dynamic person.

Fr. Stanley Kozhichira, President of Signis India, coordinated the event in a memorable journalistic way. It was an exclusive event for the catholic media professionals from various print and electronic, broadcasting media sectors from Delhi and NCR.

The event provided a great opportunity to share each about their media situations, activities of each institutions and their challenges in media Apostolate in the challenging times of India. As we know Communication tools have profoundly changed our lives, especially how we interact with one another and the world around us, it helps us to find and maintain both old and potentially new friendships.

In today’s fast-changing world of communications and digital systems, we are witnessing the spread of what has come to be known as “fake news”. The meeting also discussed about What is “fake” about fake news? How can we recognize fake news?

Fr. Stanley shared his views in shortly “This platform for media personnel’s will help us to connect each and everyone in digitally and physically for the new media ministry in a regular basis". He quoted the need of Christian media personnel’s platform in Social communication and its importance in our region as well as in our country.
