Greetings from Signis India National Office.
1. Signis India National Assembly 2017 ( SINA 2017) will be held in Chennai at Citadel, from 20th February 2017 to 23rd February 2017. The Following will the schedule:
Arrival 19th February 2017
Study days 20 and 21, February 2017
Signis India Annual General body Meeting 22 February 2017
Outing 23 February 2017
Departure 24 February 2017
Please mark these days in you dairy and make arrangements for your travel to participate in SINA 2017 at Chennai. The details of the programme will be given to you later.Regional Presidents and Secretaries are requested to send this information to all the members of your region
2. A reminder for those who have not paid 3% from projects funds received to the Signis India National office from the previous project, Please pay the dues at the earliest. We will not accept the project applications of those who have not paid the arrears.
3. To be an active member of Signis, one has to pay the prescribed membership fees to the Regional Secretary and Treasurer annually. If you have not paid, please pay the arrears. The regional secretary has to pay the 50% of the membership fees thus collected to the National office annually. If any region does not pay the 50% of the membership fees collected for the consecutive two years, the members from that region will not have Voting right at the National Assembly (Cf: Signis India Constitution By Law No 3)
4. It was announced during the Signis India National assembly 2016 held at Mangalore that each region will be given ` 25000/- as subsidy to organize a training programme on Social Media and Family as a follow up of national assembly study days. This programme has to be completed by the end of January 2017. Afterwards this subsidy will not available.
5. With this email I will be sending you the amended Signis India Constitution final copy PDF file. Please find it in the attachment.
6. If you have point to be discussed at during Signis India annual general meeting, please send it to the National office by 15thJanuary 2017 to be incorporated in the agenda.
